Yunxiu
Yunxiu
The mountain stays behind the cloud. The jade stays in the light.
Yunxiu begins with the way light stops inside a fibre, not with the word green. Burmese jadeite is judged by texture, translucency and structure together. We keep only material without polymer impregnation. Acid-washed and filled stone leaves a polymer signature in the infrared; that is concealment, not craft.
Cabochons let light diffuse instead of throwing fire. Gold is there to hold the stone, not to announce itself. Necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and brooches share one restraint: emptiness is closer to jade than a field of metal.
Light in jadeite diffuses. The cabochon needs thickness. Gold follows the girdle once. Millimetres and the absence of polymer are the record, not a slogan of green.
Drag to turn. The wireframe shows the structure of this material. It is not a scan and not a certificate.
