Polish
The last light is finished by the slowest hand. Polish decides which planes may take light. Coarse abrasive removes the casting skin, a finer one orders the direction, and the wheel stays only on the outer edge that should shine. The inner edge, beside the stone, prefers a matte so the eye is given back. Too much brightness makes the metal a second jewel.
