Yungen is a ring in Yunxiu. A ring is read from the side. If the setting arrives before the stone, it is not finished. Yunxiu begins with the way light stops inside a fibre, not with the word green. Burmese jadeite is judged by texture, translucency and structure together. We keep only material without polymer impregnation. Acid-washed and filled stone leaves a polymer signature in the infrared; that is concealment, not craft.
