Weiqi is a ring in Jiangque. A ring is read from the side. If the setting arrives before the stone, it is not finished. The red of Jiangque is chromium in corundum. Pigeon blood is a narrow hue: a pure red with very little orange or purple, high saturation, still transparent inside. Burma and Mozambique can both reach it. Origin is not an automatic premium; zoning, inclusions and heat are. We do not call every ruby unheated. Heat is written when it is there.
