Chengming

Chengming is a band in Chenlu. The band is the whole piece. It does not need a second explanation. Chenlu uses saltwater pearls, principally large South Sea whites. We look at nacre, lustre and orient, not at the slogan of a perfect circle. Rose, silver or a faint gold orient should move across the surface. Bleaching, dye or irradiation, if ever present, must be said before the piece is discussed. The collection’s default is undyed white.
